Unfortunately due to the expected temperatures at Worplesdon on Sunday 24 July 2022 the committee have taken the difficult decision to cancel the southern section summer party. It is felt that taking part in activities would not be sensible for dogs or owners. We look forward to seeing you all at our December Christmas party and other events!

Not Awarded

A vacancy has become available for a person (or persons) to manage the sales, storage and stock control of goods merchandised by the Welsh Corgi League. These comprise approximately thirty products ranging from china ornaments, glassware, homeware, jewellery, literature, stationery, toys, and accessories. Whilst all transactions can be conducted online, there is also a need for the goods to be made available at annual public events such as Crufts and the Welsh Corgi League Championship Show which both take place in the Midlands. There are also other competition show activities and social gatherings where it may be desirable for the goods to be put on display.

It is likely but not essential that the successful applicant will live in central England given the location of the two major annual showing events. But all applicants will be given due consideration irrespective of their postal address. Another likelihood is that candidates will have suitable vehicular transport for moving the goods and sufficient secure storage space at their home address.

Remuneration / Compensation: To be advised, probably at the time of telephone interview and/or ZOOM meeting link. Next action: In the first instance, all applicants must confirm their expressions of interest to;

Mrs M Hoggarth Executive Secretary Welsh Corgi League email: wclexsec10@aol.com
