Explore the origins of the Welsh Corgi League
The Welsh Corgi League was established in 1938, today it caters for all who appreciate the qualities of the Welsh Corgi Pembroke both in the UK and throughout the world.
The general administration of the League is by an annually elected Executive Committee.
Overseas members belong to the League as a whole, UK members automatically belong to the Section or Subsection in which they reside.
Scottish Section as the name suggests covers the whole of Scotland.
Northern Section covers N Ireland, Isle of Man, Gwynedd, Denbighshire, Wrexham, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire and all counties to the north.
Southern Section covers Ceredigion, Powys, Hereford, Worcester, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and all counties to the south.
East Anglian Sub-Section works under the Southern section and is responsible for Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.
Each Section have their own Committee who report directly to the Executive.
Organised Walks, Summer and Christmas parties are held by the sections, all members are welcome.
