In memory of Trevor

So sorry to have to bring bad news once again. Debbie Carrier has let us know that her father Trevor Blake died on Monday.

Many of you will remember Debbie and Trevor who were keen exhibitors during the 1980s and ‘90s.

They started with a bitch from Nan Butler, Lucky Charm of Wey at Bronteg, and she proved a super foundation, producing champion sons by two different dogs, Ch Bronteg Sians Mr Magic (by Ch Evancoyd Mr Wonderful) and the tri Ch Bronteg Majestic (by Mr Wonderful’s son Ch Pemland Ambassador).

Mr Magic had a very nice sister in the tri Lucky Rainbow Girl at Marisco, owned by Ann Coppinger. Majestic appears in the background of the later Evancoyds.

Subsequently they mated a Majestic daughter to Ch Woodhenge Star Voyager and came up with a lovely bitch, Ch Bronteg Forget Me Not, who did a lot of winning before joining the Ninacorte kennel in the US.

Many of us will remember Trevor with great affection and our sympathy goes to Debbie and family.
